How is AzureWatch priced?

Our pricing is simple, affordable and fair. Pay only for what you monitor. We charge based on the amount of time we spent monitoring your resources.

To be exact, during every hour we calculate how many units we monitored. We add up all the counts together and come up with a monthly total of all unit-hours. This total is the billable monthly usage.

Each unit-hour costs only $0.01375 which equates to approximately $10/mo for each full-time unit.

Customers who sign-up for our subscription plans (Basic or higher) can enjoy significant savings by committing to a particular monthly usage. Any unit-hours that do not fit a subscription plan are billed at regular rates.


What are Units?

Monitored units are individual resources that AzureWatch monitors. You are in full control as to what we monitor.

  • When monitoring Web or Worker Roles, each instance is considered a unit
  • When monitoring Azure VM's and VM Availability sets, each server is considered a unit
  • When monitoring Azure Websites, each website (Free, Shared or Reserved) is considered a unit
  • When monitoring SQL Azure, each database is considered a unit
  • When monitoring SQL Azure Federations, federated root is a unit and each federated member is considered a unit
  • When monitoring Azure Storage, each storage account is considered a unit
  • When monitoring URLs, each URL is considered a unit

Customers who wish to be invoiced, need an SLA or a custom sales-agreement should inquire about Enterprise license plans that offer additional benefits and are tailored to specific needs of larger corporations.


Other information

You can keep switching your subscription plan as many times as you wish. On the 1st of every month we charge for previous month's usage according to current subscription plan and actual unit-hours monitored.

Customers can monitor their monthly AzureWatch utilization from the Profile section in AzureWatch Management Portal.

We utilize Authorize.net payment processor and do not store or see your credit card data.
